Italian composer and producer Ed Carlsen joins XXIM Records

Today XXIM Records is happy to announce the signing of Italian composer and producer Ed Carlsen. His first single and music video for the label, titled Grains of Gold, releases today. It is an early taster of his upcoming album of the same name, scheduled for release in September.

Ed Carlsen has always been a wanderer. Having grown up on the Mediterranean Island of Sardinia, his musical influences included metal and progressive rock, but also the Beatles. After studying music in London he lived in Denmark, Poland and Germany, writing an album in each of these places, and crafting his signature sound mixing ambient, post-rock, electronic and neo-classical influences.
